About CAEDMI

STEM and healthcare education are keys to economic, social, and environmental progress. Kyrgyzstan is also part of the international community that must address public health issues and environmental issues that affect both this country and the world.

CAEDMI is designed to educate and develop young professionals and talent to face the growing challenges in STEM and healthcare in Kyrgyzstan and the surrounding countries in Central Asia.

As experienced engineering scholars and healthcare professionals who reside in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia, we recognize the need of young talent in the fields of STEM and healthcare professions. We at CAEDMI are excited to provide young talent in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia with practical skills along with scientific theory for the benefit of communities and individuals.

CAEDMI is a graduate academic institution in Kyrgyzstan, licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2022, primary focusing on STEM & Healthcare fields.

Proposal and Development of Education Programs
STEM and Healthcare education and training programs proposed and developed by expat professionals as a postgraduate institute (Master of Science degree programs in Engineering and Residency Programs in Medicine).
August 22, 2019
Approval of CAEDMI Charter
The Charter of CAEDMI approved by the Ministry of Education and Science (MoES) and the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic.
October 27, 2022
Approval of Master’s Degree Program
The MoES approved a Master’s Degree program in Engineering, specializing in Mechatronics and Robotics.
January 20, 2023
Licensing of Master’s Degree Programs
The CAEDMI Engineering Graduate School (AIT) received an official license for its Master’s Degree programs in Mechatronics and Robotics from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.

CAEDMI’s leadership is responsible to envision the future of young professionals in STEM and Healthcare of Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia. The Institute’s governing body consists of the Rector, Board of Trustees, Advisory Board, Auditor and Institutional Advancement Committee:

CAEDMI (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Institute’) is comprised of three schools by charter: Engineering, Dental Medicine, and Family Medicine. Each school is directed by the Dean of each school mentioned below (as of 2022) under the Rector of the Institute:

  • Dean of Engineering Graduate School (EGS): David H. Lim, Ph.D.
  • Dean of Dental Medicine School (DMS): Aibek S. Moon, DDS, MA, Ph.D.
  • Dean of Family Medicine School (FMS): Brad Quist, MD, MPH, MBA

The mission of CAEDMI is to educate and train young talent in science, technology, engineering, and health to serve the Kyrgyz Republic, Central Asia, and the global community effectively.
