Academic Affairs Assistant and Finance Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Academic Affairs Assistant and Finance Coordinator will play a crucial role in assisting the Academic Affairs Director to ensure a high standard of academics and maintains accurate financial records. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assistance to Academic Affairs Director:
    • Assist in development and implementation of academic programs, ensuring they align with the institution’s goals and standards
    • Assist in the accreditation process, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
    • Prepare and submit accreditation reports and documentation.
    • Liaise with accreditation bodies and internal departments to gather necessary information and updates.
  • Financial Management:
    • Maintain accurate financial records and track expenditures.
    • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring, while interfacing with the accountant.
    • Prepare financial reports and statements for internal and external requirements.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
    • Organize and maintain files and records.
    • Assist in various projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Work experience in management and/or finance.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an academic environment.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and procedures.
  • English: speaking and writing skills
